WELCOME TO
GENE & NORMA HOWARD'S

MINISTRIES

Howdy,  Norma and I wish
to welcome you to our ministry..
We have been serving the Lord for over 34 years, and God
has been so good.

Dr. Gene Howard brings several God given messages, and holds the audience's  attention by doing an awesome patriotic impersonation of John Wayne.  He preaches in Baptist churches, but also entertains other Christian groups with after dinner speaking using Patriotism, Humor, mixed with a promotion of Christian Values.

Secular credits are listed at bottom of this page.

The messages that he
preaches in Baptist churches are
described and listed below:

"Freedom and Sacrifice"
message
About 12 years ago when people started to tell Dr. Howard that he not only looked like John Wayne but that he also sounded like him, God also started to lay this “FREEDOM AND SACRIFICE” message upon his heart and for the past 9 years has been brought hundreds of times in Baptist Churches all across America.   It talks about the sacrifice for our physical freedom and lifts up our Veterans, and then it switches over and talks about the
Spiritual Sacrifice that only Christ could make for us at Calvary.
He has a video presentation behind him of planes coming in at Pearl Harbor,
and nails being driven on the cross, with music and sound effects.

It will make you want to wave a flag,  and  it is the clearest
presentation of the Gospel that anyone could ever hear.
Be sure to invite  lost friends and acquaintances to come hear this one.

"The Big Ring Rifle Message"

In this message using a BIG RING RIFLE as an object lesson on turning your life and service over to God.  A comparison is made between the parts of the rifle, and the qualities of a good soldier of the Lord.  After hearing this message every time one sees a rifle he is reminded
of the message.

LESSONS CHRISTIANS CAN LEARN FROM THE ALAMO

In this message Dr. Howard preaches about what Christians could learn from those that stood at the Alamo. It brings in comitment by crossing the line that was drawn, and conduct of those that crossed that line.

Dr. Howard even has a coonskin cap that
he wears  at times during the presentation.

A little boy imitating John Wayne in Rio Lobo grew up to become the World Champion and record holder as the fastest in a double balloon series.  Jerome's uncontested world record was set at Annie Oakley Days in Greenville Ohio in 2001. In April 2005 Jerome won the National Quick draw Championship in Claremore, Oklahoma during the Wild West Arts Club Convention. Fast draw is the art of reacting to a signal, drawing, firing, and hitting a target with a single action revolver using a  "full-powder" blank or wax bullet.  A timing clock gives the shooter a random two to five second delay before turning on the target light.  When the light comes on the shooter grabs the gun, draws it out of the holster, cocks the hammer, and pulls the trigger to fire the gun at the target.  The target is a balloon or metal target shot from 5 to 25 feet.
