TOYING
WITH THE BASS
OR USING TOYS TO CATCH MORE BASS
Copyright 2006 Gene Howard
Here are some of the toys that I used to catch over 100 bass.
They are soft, they don't tear, and bass just can't get
enough of them.
I lost a white mouse to a bass after catching about 8, but this black
one has caught over 20 bass, still going.
I lost this Alligator to a bass after catching about 10 bass on
it. I
glued eyes on some with crazy glue, but they seem to work without
them.
This spider caught over 30 bass with out tearing or losing a leg.
The spider worked, over 30 bass caught
This toy alligator
caught a 6lb bass
The biggest surprise was
the chicken
These little 2" grub stretches to a foot without tearing. and
catches big fish.
The spider racks up another one.
and another
They would hit this chicken and if they did not get hooked they would
come back again and again.
Chicken even caught a crappie
Another chicken express bass. I lost the first chicken to a bass after
catching
12 in a row.
This was another surprise, a two headed dragon. Caught about 6 fish on
it yesterday
I took a refrigerator magnet dragonfly and glued a hook on it and
caught bass till they tore the hook off.
Oh rats, another one on the mouse.
Bob tried the green spider ......
and caught a
lot of fish
I tried it, and it
worked for me too.
The yellow grub
also worked.
Bob got tired of catching bass on the green spider and switched
to the yellow chicken.
Rory liked the blue horny toad and caught a lot of nice bass on it.
There was a big fly that looked a lot like the black spider and
it caught fish too.
Bob took home about 17 of the 50 or so we caught. We always let the
good fighters go.
Go get you
some toys and have some fun. Just put the large hook real close to
the end of the head. They don't tear and this give the hook a good chance
to catch the bass's mouth.
