WHAT WE BELIEVE The Holy Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and is complete, finished, and entirely without error. The Genesis account of creation is to be accepted literally. Man was created in the image and likeness of God by God directly and not through evolutionary chance or cosmic accident. Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a perfect, sinless life, died on a cross for the sins of mankind, was raised from the dead on the third day, and is living today at the right hand of God. Jesus Christ, is the only way to heaven; Christ offers eternal life as a free gift to all who believe; eternal life cannot be earned by good works; it is by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ - plus nothing, minus nothing. The church is a local assembly of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, baptized by immersion. Believers are commanded to reach the lost with the Gospel through personal testimony and missions though the local church. Jesus Christ will come for His followers before God pours out His wrath on mankind during the period of time call the tribulation. After the tribulation, Jesus Christ will return physically to the earth to set up His kingdom for 1000 years.
